Enterprise Architecture Consulting
IT strategy and architecture planning to design scalable systems and processes.
An engagement should start with the systems involved, the people responsible for them and the outcome the organization wants to achieve. Agree the work, dependencies, acceptance criteria and operating responsibilities before implementation. The scope and deliverables below are discussion points, subject to the requirements of each project.
Planning the engagement
- Understand the current application and capability landscape
- Agree target-state principles and integration boundaries
- Prioritize dependencies, governance decisions and roadmap milestones
Questions to resolve
- Which capabilities must change, and which existing investments should be retained? Identify the decision owners and constraints before selecting a target architecture.
- Which dependencies could prevent the roadmap from being delivered? Review integration boundaries, data ownership and governance alongside application choices.
- How will the organization decide that the target state is working? Agree measurable acceptance criteria and a sequence of achievable changes.
Service requirements, credentials and project evidence can be discussed during a consultation. The published information describes areas of work; it does not promise a particular outcome or service level.
